When the surface of the structure is exposed to a high temperature of about 150°C, PTH will use thermal insulation panels for protection. In buildings with special fire protection requirements, the steel structure must be protected with refractory materials to improve the fire rating.

The strength and elastic modulus of steel is many times higher than that of masonry and concrete, so under the same load conditions, the weight of steel components is very light. From the point of view of damage, steel structure is a flexible damage structure, with large deformation expected in advance, danger can be found in advance, thereby avoiding this danger.
